Gro-Fine Annual Lawn Program

The Gro-Fine step program by Knox Fertilizer achieves maximum results to provide thick, green lawns. The patented extended-release formula delivers nutrients for up to 120 days.

Step 1: Crabgrass Preventer (apply early Spring). Controls crabgrass as pre-emergent or early post-emergent to extend application window for quick, deep, even greening. The non-staining formula uniformly covers to deliver an invisible barrier at the soil surface that prevents crabgrass from germinating while it feeds the lawn. Contains Dimension herbicide, a 4-month Preventitive barrier against  crabgrass, other annual grassy weeds, and many broadleaf weeds.

Step 2: Weed & Feed (apply anytime weeds are actively growing). Grass should be wet from dew or sprinkling before application. This helps particles adhere to weed leaves to produce best results. Do not apply if rain is expected within 24 hours. Apply when daytime temperatures are between 60 and 90 degrees and weeds are present and growing. Controls most common lawn weeds, including dandelions, white clover, chick weed and more. Delay reseeding for 2 weeks after application.

Step 3: Lawn Food (apply any season when grass is green and growing). Combines quick lawn greening with timed-release feeding for long-lasting results, up to 4 months without rapid growth spurts. Stimulates tiller and rhizome development to improve density and helps grass plants multiply themselves for a stronger, greener lawn.

Step 4: Fall Weed & Feed OR Winterizer Lawn Food (apply in Fall). Provides essential nutrients for vigorous growth of turf grasses in the fall or after the winter dormant stage. Helps prepare lawns for winter by promoting stronger root development. Promotes a thicker and greener lawn in the fall as well as a quicker green-up and thick lawn in spring. Kills weeds while feeding lawns and controls a wide spectrum of broadleaf weeds with timed release for extended feeding.
