Its lustrous pale blue foliage is 7 inches long, slightly twisted and forming dense slow-spreading clumps. Dusky purple, 2 inch wide, balloon-like flowers are carried on 14 inch tall stems, well above the foliage and borne in cosmic quantities. It is drought tolerant, easy to grow, and combines well with other Alliums, sedums, dwarf Miscanthus or Pennisetum, lavender, Dianthus, bell flower, or just about any other sun-loving perennial in this galaxy.
