'Citrine' coreopsis is compact, developing mounds of thread leaf-type foliage, and reaching only 7 inches in flower. It is incredibly showy with vibrant yellow flowers that virtually obscure the foliage all summer long, continually producing new flowers to replace the old ones. Its low-growing habit makes it well-suited for mixed borders, containers, and en masse as a small to medium sized ground cover. Excellent companions include Nepeta, Salvia, Rudbeckia, coneflowers, and Russian sage.
