An abundance of bright yellow blooms, resembling little daisy pinwheels, cover 'Gold Nugget' during late spring, and its succulent, mat forming, evergreen leaves are attractive throughout the year, even after changing to maroon for the winter. It is drought resistant, great for use in rock gardens, or other dry areas, and is an exceptional small scale groundcover. Companions include Alliums, Campanula, sedums, and dwarf ornamental grasses.
