With richly reddish purple deciduous foliage, this compact super cold tolerant sedum makes a charming rock garden specimen or small scale ground cover. Its foliage is unique in that it seems to change color throughout the day, reacting to differing levels of sunlight. And, during summer it is clothed in a blanket of dusky pink flowers. Requiring good drainage, `Ezawe' looks nice planted with hen and chicks, other non-aggressive sedums, blue eyed grass, dwarf iris, and heucheras of contrasting color.
